Welcome to LiteLinks. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LiteLinks website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

LiteLinks is a link-in-bio platform that allows users to create customizable personal pages aggregating links, content, and social profiles. The Service includes free and paid tiers with varying feature sets.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create through the Service ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant LiteLinks a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

You agree not to post content that:

  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malware, phishing links, or other harmful material
  • Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or threatening
  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Impersonates any person or entity

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent
  • Circumvent any rate limits or technical restrictions

6. Free and Paid Plans

LiteLinks offers free and paid subscription plans. Free plans include limited features as described on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis.

  • Billing: Paid subscriptions are charged at the beginning of each billing cycle via your chosen payment method.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.
  • Refunds: Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days.

7. Referral Program

LiteLinks offers a referral program that allows eligible users to earn rewards by referring new users to the Service. Participation is subject to the following terms:

  • Eligibility: The referral program is available to all users with an active LiteLinks account in good standing.
  • Reward: When a referred user creates an account using your unique referral link, both you and the referred user receive 7 days of Lite access at no charge.
  • Milestones: Additional rewards may be available upon reaching referral milestones as described on the referral program page. Milestone rewards are subject to change at our discretion.
  • Anti-Abuse: Referral rewards are intended for genuine referrals only. Self-referrals, fake accounts, automated sign-ups, or any form of manipulation will result in disqualification and may lead to account suspension.
  • Modification & Termination: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time without prior notice. Accrued rewards will be honored unless obtained through fraudulent means.
  • No Cash Value: Referral rewards have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or sold.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by LiteLinks and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. LiteLinks is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

11. Copyright & DMCA Policy

LiteLinks respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content hosted on LiteLinks infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification to our designated agent containing:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location on the Service (e.g., the URL of the page).
  • Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent containing your name, contact information, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts in Delaware. We will forward the counter-notification to the original complainant and restore the content within 10-14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated at our discretion.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request a copy of your data within 30 days of termination.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LiteLinks and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LiteLinks and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware.
