A podcaster’s link in bio should answer one question fast: “Where do I listen?” Put the newest episode at the top, list every app your show is on, and add a way to follow you that doesn’t depend on an algorithm.
Every clip you post on TikTok, Reels or Shorts ends the same way: “full episode, link in bio.” The person who taps has already decided they’re curious. Your page’s job is to get them listening within a few seconds, on the app they already use, and to give them a reason to come back for the next episode.
Lead with the latest episode
Most visitors arrive because of one specific episode, usually the one the clip came from. Put it first.
- Embed it so people can press play without leaving the page. LiteLinks supports Spotify and YouTube embeds on the Lite plan, and free accounts can unlock one embed type of their choice.
- Name it clearly: “New: Ep. 112, how we booked our first sponsor” tells people they’re in the right place. “Latest episode” doesn’t.
- Swap it each week. The embedded episode should always be the one you’re promoting right now.
If you post clips from older episodes, add a second link to that episode directly. Don’t make someone scroll an app’s back catalogue to find it.
List every app, in the order your listeners use
People listen where they already listen. Give each app its own button:
- Spotify
- Apple Podcasts
- YouTube, if you publish video
- Your show’s website or RSS feed, for everyone else
Then check your analytics after a few weeks. On LiteLinks Lite and Pro you can see your top links, so you’ll know which app your audience actually taps. Move that one to the top. Our guide to ordering the links on your page covers the thinking behind this.
If you only have time for one change, put your listeners’ favourite app first and leave the rest below it.
Turn listeners into subscribers
Following a show inside an app is easy, but you can’t reach those followers directly. An email list is the one channel you own.
- Offer something specific: episode alerts, show notes, or a bonus episode for subscribers.
- Put the sign-up high on the page, right under the episode and the app links.
- Mention it on air: “the link to join is in our bio” at the end of every episode.
LiteLinks Pro has a built-in email sign-up link, so people can join without leaving your page. On other plans, link to your newsletter tool’s sign-up page. See how to grow an email list from your link in bio for more.
Sponsors, support and guests
A podcast page often has three audiences: listeners, sponsors and future guests. Give each one a clear path.
Sponsor codes. Give each sponsor its own link with the offer in the title: “20% off [Brand] with code SHOW20”. On LiteLinks Pro, the discount-code link shows the code on the page and copies it in one tap. Remove deals when they end.
Listener support. If listeners want to back the show, add a tip or membership link. The tip jar link on Pro gives it a button that stands out. LiteLinks doesn’t handle the payment; the button sends people to your tipping page. Our guide to taking tips from fans has more.
Guest pitches. A contact form keeps your email address off the page while still letting people reach you. On LiteLinks Pro, the contact form link sends messages straight to your inbox.
An example podcast page, top to bottom
- Your cover art as the profile photo, and the show name as your handle
- The newest episode, embedded
- One button per listening app
- Email sign-up for new-episode alerts
- Current sponsor codes
- Support the show
- Guest and sponsor enquiries
- Social icons along the top
That’s eight items, which is plenty. If your page is getting longer, read how many links your link in bio should have before adding more.
Launch weeks and special episodes
For a big episode or a season premiere, make the page match the moment:
- A countdown to the release, on the Lite plan
- The trailer, embedded
- A pre-written share post for guests to use
On Pro, scheduled links can go live at release time and come down when the launch is over. Our podcast episode launch checklist walks through the full week.
Put the link where listeners hear it
- Read it out at the end of every episode
- Put it in your show notes and episode descriptions
- Add it to your social bios and pin a post that points to it
- Share it with guests so they can link to the episode they’re on
Then you only ever update one page, not every bio and show note.
